Intern0: Epoch of Chaos

The launch of the first Intern0 network introduces order and stability to the Layer 2 blockchain landscape. Early adopters are rewarded with the network's mining token, allowing them to receive Intern0 tokens. As the first network in the Intern Ecosystem, Intern0 will also have its token function as the governance token for the entire ecosystem.
To obtain the Intern0 token, users need to stake L2MP—the mining token of the Intern0 network—with a node on the foundational Layer 1 blockchain. L2MP is distributed through commInterny airdrops designed to build liquidity within the Intern ecosystem.

The Intern0 token serves as the governance token for the Intern ecosystem DAO. Holders of Intern0 are onboarded as DAO members, giving them the right to vote on the allocation of the DAO treasury funds.
The Intern Ecosystem DAO is built on the Intern0 token, with its treasury holding 10% of the total Intern0 supply. To obtain voting rights and benefit from new token launches backed by the DAO’s treasury funds, Intern0 tokens can be staked within the DAO. This staking mechanism allows participants to actively participate in ecosystem governance and earn rewards from new projects supported by the DAO’s financial resources.

New projects launching on the Intern0 network can apply for grants from the Intern DAO in return for dedicating a portion of their project tokens to the DAO’s treasury. Intern0 holders who engage in DAO governance are eligible to receive allocations of these tokens. Grants provided to projects are based on the achievement of specific milestones and aim to facilitate liquidity bootstrapping within the ecosystem. This milestone-driven approach ensures efficient allocation of funding and encourages projects to contribute to the ecosystem's growth and stability.

The second chain (Intern1) is launched within the ecosystem, supported by the Ecosystem DAO. The Intern1 chain rewards Intern0 holders who participate in the DAO, extending the Chain of Incentives.
After the successful deployment of new protocols and projects on the Intern0 network, the ecosystem is set for further growth with the introduction of additional networks, starting with Intern1. The selection and endorsement of the Intern1 network will be guided by the DAO, focusing on its ability to showcase the ecosystem's strength and provide benefits to the Ecosystem DAO. This strategic initiative aims to continue the Chain of Incentives, creating a sustainable incentivization model for future network launches.
